I haven’t seen it yet, but below I will tell you everything I can find about this movie and what to expect.
It may not be Slapshot, Youngblood, Goon, Mystery, Alaska, or even Shoresy.
But as hockey players, it’s right in our wheelhouse.

What’s The Story On The Late Show?
The Late Game is a movie about beer league hockey that was filmed in Charleston, South Carolina.
The trailer (above) recently dropped during an ECHL game between the South Carolina Stingrays and Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
The writers involved are Jeff Tyner and Jeffrey M. Zucker and it was directed by Jeff.
The Plot
Who cares?
It’s a beer league hockey movie.
But if you really need a plot, it’s a bout a dude named Riley, who is a little rusty, who subs for a team called Polly’s Pies in their 11:00 p.m. game against the beer league powerhouse team called the Young Genos.
If you play or have played beer league hockey before, you can probably already guess what happens because you’ve seen it all before.
Is Anyone Famous In This Movie?
Shit no.
Do you really think they had a budget for an actor or actress that you’ve heard of before?

I haven’t seen it yet.
