65 Best Hockey Logos 2025

I have always been interested in sports team logos.
Some are carefully designed using imagery and colors that perfectly represent the team they are created for. Others leave you scratching your head wondering who TF designed it.
There is a lot of thought and creativity that goes into most modern hockey logos.
On this page, I have listed my favorite hockey logos from a number of different hockey leagues.
Obviously, this list is subjective and expresses only my own opinion.
My favorite hockey team logos likely don’t align with all of yours. If you have any cool hockey logos that belong on my list just let me know.
Every hockey fan has their own favorite logos based on taste and the occasional homerism element of their local team.
Best NHL Hockey Logos
Chicago Blackhawks
It’s hard to beat the most iconic logo in NHL hockey. The logo colors in combination with the black and red jerseys rock.
Minnesota Wild
The Minnesota Wild logo is beautifully designed with a forest landscape incorporated into a wild animal.
Detroit Red Wings
This classic logo is a tribute to the first winners of the Stanley Cup – the Montreal AAA Winged Wheelers.
Arizona Coyotes
This cool Kachina logo is based on the ancestral spirits of the Pueblo people. The southwest colors are perfect.
Boston Bruins
The black and gold Bruins logo celebrates Boston’s nickname of The Hub – as in hub of the solar system.
Winnipeg Jets
The Winnipeg Jets logo is just about perfect in its simplicity. This design is one of my favorite hockey team logos.
Cool Hockey Logos From The Past (NHL)
Minnesota North Stars
OK, I’m biased here. I grew up going to North Star games in Minnesota. But I still think this is a classic cool hockey logo.
Winnipeg Jets
The Jets logo, like the Nordiques logo, represents the funky hockey team logos created in this period.
Quebec Nordiques
The Quebec hockey team logo with the igloo and hockey stick perfectly represents the logo design of that period.
Colorado Rockies
Love the color scheme and use of the Colorado state flag. The Rockies moved to New Jersey and became the Devils.
Hartford Whalers
The Hartford whale tail design is one of the coolest hockey team logos in NHL history in my humble opinion.
St. Louis Eagles
If you remember this NHL team from 1934-35 you’re a hell of a lot older than I am. Awesome hockey logo though.
